Sewing Workshop: Upcycled T-shirt Bag

No one likes getting rid of their favorite T-shirt, so why not give it a new life? Here at Resource Depot, we want to encourage everyone to ditch single use plastic items, like bags and exchange them for a reusable shopping bag with sentimental value. No experience necessary to participate in our Upcycled T-shirt Bag workshop, where you’ll have access to our materials and sewing machines. This activity is meant for participants Ages 12+.

$25 per person. Advanced registration required, class limited to 8 people. Registration closes November 8th at 12pm.

In this workshop, you will learn:

- the main parts of a sewing machine

- how to thread a machine needle and install a bobbin

- the different types of stitches
